For readers in California (under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and in other US states that have enacted comprehensive privacy legislation (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah among them), this notice sits on top of the Privacy Policy and adds the disclosures those laws require.
Advertising and Sharing
No personal information is exchanged for money. But where advertising runs on this site, cookie and device identifiers may go to advertising partners, and the broad statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ can capture that. It is opt-out-able — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share data belonging to minors under 16.
Your Rights
You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, get a copy in portable form, and opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Several states additionally grant a right to appeal if we decline. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights — no price difference, no degraded access.
Categories Collected
The categories that apply here are identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet or network activity (pages viewed on roadsidekids.com, referring pages, timestamps), and, only where you have provided it, contact information such as an email address. Sources are your own device and any analytics or advertising partner in use.
Submitting a Request
The address for requests is hello@roadsidekids.com. Opt-outs are additionally available through Global Privacy Control, which we detect and honour with no message needed. We verify by responding to the originating email address, act within the statutory response window, and accept authorised-agent requests supported by written permission.
