Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-01
Under the CCPA/CPRA and equivalent US state statutes you may direct a business to stop selling or sharing your personal information for targeted advertising. Here is what that means on this site, and how to do it.
What We Do That Counts
To be precise about what is and is not happening: Roadsidekids does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, where advertising is displayed on roadsidekids.com, advertising identifiers may be shared with ad partners, and state law may classify that as a ‘sale’ or as ‘sharing’. We therefore make the opt-out available rather than rely on a narrow reading.
- This applies to everyone reading our coverage of Roadsidekids on roadsidekids.com, whether or not you have ever subscribed or commented.
What to Expect
Expect generic advertising rather than none. The sharing stops immediately; the ad slots may remain. Access, content and functionality on roadsidekids.com are identical whether or not you have opted out.
Making the Request
Easiest first: switch on Global Privacy Control in your browser settings or via an extension — it is detected and honoured on every page load, automatically. Failing that, use the cookie banner where shown, or email hello@roadsidekids.com, subject line ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. We never require an account to process an opt-out.
The State Privacy Notice sets out every right these statutes provide, not just this one.
